South West ACPIN has welcomed some new committee members this year with Gaynor Jackson, Helen Ellis, Nicky Burton and Lottie Newberry joining us over the last few months. We now have one committee member in Cornwall, Devon and South Wales but would welcome more people to support them. Please get in touch if you wish to find out further information. Thank you too to Debbie Neal for her contribution to the committee as she has had to resign.

Our gait course which was combined with our AGM in April plus an evening lecture on unexplained symptoms in May were both very popular so thanks again for your support. So far we have planned our summer social which will be combined with another session on neuroanatomy in July. We are currently trying to finalise our course plans for the rest of the year but potentially we hope to be running courses on the shoulder; ataxia research; gait rehabilitation; continence & sexual health; seating course/postural management; neurology and exercise; hands and interpersonal communication skills. We hope to be able to run some of these courses in different locations across the region now we have more committee members spread across the region. Just to remind you that with all courses your place is only confirmed with a completed application form and cheque being received by the course organiser.
