Yorkshire ACPIN AGM and MS Study Day

Dr Wendy Hendrie PhD MCSP FACPIN
For nearly 40 years, Dr Wendy Hendrie has specialised in the management of MS and complex neurodisability. She has worked in the NHS, on Younger Disabled Units and in MS Therapy Centre, completed a Masters in 1995 and a PhD in 2012. She has recently completed a large randomised controlled trial with Professor Jenny Freeman.
Wendy was a member of the 2014 NICE Guideline Development Group for MS and was a founder member of the national group Therapists in MS (TiMS), of which she was co-chair for six years. She currently works at an MS Centre in Norwich and gyms in Norfolk running maintenance exercise groups for people with severe neurodisability. As well as her clinical work, she is involved in a number of research and advisory projects around the country with NHS England and the MS Society and MS Trust. Wendy is passionate about improving services for people with MS, the education of health professionals and people with MS and encouraging therapists to become specialists.
