Identifying Stroke in a Dizzy Patient

Advanced Specialist Physiotherapist in Acute Stroke and Neurological Rehabilitation MSc, MCSP

This course is suited to those who work in all ward-based settings, Acute Stroke, Emergency Departments, Primary Care, Community Rehabilitation, MSK and First Contact practitioners.  It will include:

• A review of central and peripheral vestibular anatomy/physiology and common pathologies
• Clinical Assessment evidence base review
• Introduction to the Dizziness Assessment Tool for the Emergency Department (DATED)
• Clinical Assessment practical application session

Includes light refreshments only – lunch is not provided.
