London ACPIN Evening event and AGM
What research questions do you have about stroke that you would like to see funded in the future?
The Stroke Association in conjunction with the James Lind Alliance are in the process of developing a new Top Ten priorities for stroke research.
The premise of the Top Ten is that research money is awarded based on these priorities. Key unanswered research questions that you have about any aspect of the stroke pathway, from causation to life after stroke need to appear on this Top Ten to be funded in the future.
If you think physiotherapy related questions should be on this list, it is up to you to get them there by taking part in the survey.
To launch the survey, London ACPIN are holding a free evening event, with wine and nibbles. Come along to:
- Hear from Fiona Jones, Cherry Kilbride and Steve Ashford about the importance of continuing to try to answer unanswered questions
- Share ideas and make some noise about what is important to you
- Help ACPIN shape the future of research in stroke. Let’s get physiotherapy questions represented in the Top Ten
If you don’t, your MDT colleagues will, and their questions will be the ones that get funded!
*Please note different venue to usual one. You will be sent a map following registration*. Nearest tubes: Russell Square (6 min walk) or Kings Cross (10 min walk).
