Membership Affairs

I have been a member of the ACPIN Board as a committee member, diversity officer and currently as the membership secretary. I am also a committee member of the Manchester regional committee.

I am currently completing and MSc in Advanced Practice and work as a Trainee Advanced Practitioner in the Stroke service of Salford NHS Foundation trust. This is a new exciting role being supported by this forward-thinking trust which employs a range of Advanced Clinical Practitioners in the stroke service from four different health professional backgrounds. I co-chair the stroke rehabilitation group for Greater Manchester as part of the Greater Manchester Operational Delivery network for Stroke. I am very passionate about the importance of physiotherapy within the stroke pathway and striving for patient centred, evidence-based care throughout a patient’s journey. I am also one of the first AHP Older Persons Fellows which involved me completing a postgraduate certificate at Kings College London.
