Induced Movement Therapy

This is a face to face course and is suitable for Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who have some experience of patients with neurological impairments.

This course on CIMT of the upper limb will cover theoretical and practical aspects.

Delivered by Phillip Fay, Occupational Therapist from Constraint Induced Movement Therapy Australia.

Phillip has been running CIMT courses since 2010 and has delivered approximately 500 face to face and online courses.  Phillip was the first therapist in Australia to Train in Constraint Induced Therapy at the University Of Alabama Birmingham USA in 2009.

 

This training is based on the research work of the CI Therapy Research Group at the Taub Clinic run from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, USA and the ground breaking work of Professor Edward Taub.
