EAST ACPIN

Rehabilitation of Sit to Stand and Gait ​following ​Stroke

East ACPIN invites you to attend the above event.

Through a mixture of theory and practical application, this course will cover:​

• Practice conditions required to facilitate motor learning following stroke ​
• Basic principles of biomechanics, including analysis using a kinematic and kinetic approach​
• Common impairments and how to identify them​
• Use of targeted and evidence based interventions, including the principles of structuring practice ​

The course is open to PT and OT’s working in stroke and neurological rehabilitation. The course is delivered using a mixture of theory based learning and practical application, including movement analysis using iPads, patient videos and patient workshops.

£255 ACPIN members £300 non-members

NB: Applicants will need to apply for an Honorary contract via Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. Places will be reserved once payment or proof of funding for payment is received.​
